Bulgarian Arts Festival-Canada

Bulgarian Arts Festival showcases the best of Bulgarian culture. It brings attention to contemporary art, music, theatre and film to offer a glimpse of some of the most amazing and unique cultural expressions of modern Bulgarian artists, musicians and actors from Bulgarian and Canada.

This year the festival is dedicated to the Fiftieth Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and Canada and 40th anniversary of the opening of the Bulgarian Consulate in Toronto and it is going to take place in Toronto and Ottawa between April 3 and April 30, 2016. During that period a few shows and events have been planned with the participation of some of the most popular Bulgarian classical/jazz performers and actors living in Europe and North America. The theme of the festival is “Awakening”/”Пробуждане”.

The concert is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Guinness Records  Everest Concert where she was the only woman to perform with musicians such as Teodosii Spasov, Doni Vekilov and other.
